Though Norden Farm Centre for the Arts celebrates its seventh anniversary in September 2007, its roots go back to the formation of the Maidenhead Arts group in the 1970s. Aiming to find a site for a Maidenhead Arts Centre, the group took advantage of Norden Farm becoming available in the early 1990's.
With National Lottery funding adding to the support of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council and Southern Arts, the £8 million Centre was completed in September 2000. Combining state-of-the-art facilities with restored Georgian farm buildings, Norden Farm has presented an ambitious and exciting programme of theatre, music, literature, comedy and film since.
