Sunday 28th September, 11:00am - From Windsor and Eton Riverside Station

Windsor’s importance has always been based on the fact that it is a transport hub. In Saxon times, the pilgrims came to Windsor to ford the river, the Castle was built to safeguard the river crossing. Later the railways arrived to service the Castle and the College and it is now trapped between three motorways.Walk led by Richard Wilson.
