Music for Autism - A concert for autistic children and their families

Sunday 21st September, 2pm and 4pm - Education Centre, The Royal Mews, Windsor Castle

In an informal setting families sit at tables supplied with pens and paper and Thomas the Tank Engine decorations. A space is left at the front of the hall for children to dance and move around to the music provided by OSJ. OSJ (Orchestra of St. John’s) has, for several years, promoted Music for Autism and is at the forefront of developing opportunities for autistic children.

It is recommended that only people with an understanding of autism attend these events.

Autism is a serious mental disorder, which causes distress, frustration and anxiety to both sufferers and their families. It is a life-long development disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to those around them. Over 500,000 families in the UK are affected by this condition.

The Festival and Music for Autism are grateful to the Visits Manager, Windsor Castle for his assistance.

Tickets: £5, £3 accompanied children
