Kings and Queens: A Royal Occasion

Sunday 28th September, 7:30pm (Reception 6:45pm) - The Royal Chapel, Windsor Great Park

Poems by Eleanor and Herbert Farjeon with music by Eleanor Farjeon arranged by Anne Harvey

Julian Glover
Isla Blair
Stefan Bednarczyk singer/pianist

Well known to many people we are delighted to present the Farjeon poems "Kings and Queens" in the Royal Chapel, arranged by Anne Harvey to include musical settings of some of the poems by Eleanor Farjeon herself.

We are delighted to welcome a distinguished cast:

Julian Glover has recently played Macbeth in the West End and Isla Blair has been starring in a Shaw play. Stefan Bednarczyk is always in great demand as a cabaret singer, raconteur and actor and has just finished a season with Judy Campbell.

John Julius Norwich said of the book, "I was quite literally brought up on these brilliant verses. My mother gave me a shilling for every one I learnt by heart and I can still recite most of them. They contain everything a child needs to know about kings and queens, bringing each one unforgettably to life. Parents will ignore them at their peril.

Tickets: (unreserved) £25 to include reception in the jubilee Hall at the Royal Chapel at 6:45pm, prior to the performance
Code: RC28

Performance ends 8:40pm
