Ralph Allwood conductor
Timothy Byram-Wigfield conductor
Marking the 250th Anniversary of the Accession of George III, we present a programme of music that befits both the anniversary and the venue – George III was instrumental in beautifying St George’s Chapel, and the performing choirs are from two institutions which played a significant part in his life. Among the pieces being performed are Handel’s Dettingen Te Deum and his famous coronation anthem, The King Shall Rejoice.
There will be no interval during this performance
£28/£22/£18 central Nave, £12 Nave aisles (unreserved),
