25 years ago, Andrei Filipov was a prodigy – once the celebrated conductor of the Bolshoi Orchestra, today he works as a cleaner at the Bolshoi, after being fired during the communist era when he refused to expel Jewish musicians. When Andrei intercepts an urgent invitation for the Bolshoi to play a concert at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, he conceives the notion to reform his old orchestra, defying destiny and taking their revenge!
